In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Bushland Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Gunter Tigers.

The Falcons (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Foxes come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Caddo Mills went down by Lindale (Lindale, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Krum for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Gunter will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-4.
