With the win, Central Heights improves its record to 17-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Clyde (Clyde, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 12-2. Clyde won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against China Spring (China Spring, TX)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Sulphur Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX).
