Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots (Richmond, VA) and the host Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA), observed Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's volleyball team top Timberlake Christian by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA). The Patriots go into the VHSAA battle with a 0-0 record.

The Tornadoes now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to StoneBridge for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. Timberlake Christian will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.
