In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lumberton Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chester Yellowjackets.

The Raiders (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Hamshire-Fannett was beaten by Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Diboll for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Chester will face a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 3-3.
