Texas High School Volleyball - China Spring over Edgewood

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) and the host Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX), observed China Spring's volleyball team top Edgewood by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Peaster (Peaster, TX). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Peaster dropped by Hereford (Hereford, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Lamar for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Edgewood will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Community (Nevada, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
