The Connally Cadets topped the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cadets now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bowie for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Connally will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Pflugerville Connally drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 6-10. St. Stephen's Episcopal lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX)
