The Cypress Woods Wildcats volleyball squad (Cypress, TX), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX)

With the win, Montgomery improves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Burton (Burton, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 10-2. Burton won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Jersey Village (Houston, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. Cypress Woods will battle a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
