In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Granite Hills Grizzlies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Firebaugh Eagles.

The Grizzlies (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wonderful College Prep Academy (Lost Hills, CA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Wonderful College Prep Academy edged Legacy Christian Academy (Bakersfield, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Lindsay Cardinals (Lindsay, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 22. Firebaugh will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over McFarland (McFarland, CA).
