In Friday's non-league bout, the Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX) volleyball team held off the host Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK), by a margin of 3-2.
The Rangers now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Shamrock for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Perryton will clash with a Irish team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Holy Cross Catholic Academy (Amarillo, TX). The Irish record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Guymon drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
