The Whitefaces (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Clyde achieved victory over Krum (Krum, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Longhorns now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Elliott for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Vega will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.
