Texas High School Volleyball - Horizon over Irvin

The Horizon Scorpions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Irvin Rockets to 0 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scorpions now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Socorro for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Horizon will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clint (Clint, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Irvin falls to 1-5 on the year. The Rockets host Parkland (El Paso, TX) to confront the Matadors in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. The Matadors enter the game with a record of 2-5. Parkland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Socorro (El Paso, TX)
