Houston Homeschool Athletics Mavericks (Conroe, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Tournament Opponent (, ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tournament Opponent (, ). The go into the non-league test with a 7-35 record. In their last test, Tournament Opponent was defeated by Houston Homeschool Athletics (Conroe, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The now own a 9-43 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluff Dale for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Tournament Opponent will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Santo (Santo, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
