Texas High School Volleyball - Johnson over Hutto

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) and the host Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX), observed Johnson's volleyball team top Hutto by a count of 2-0.

The Jaguars (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Broncos go into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Lake Belton beat Jordan (Fulshear, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hippos meet the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Hutto will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the test with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX).
