In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Inglewood Sentinels volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Westchester Comets.
The Sentinels (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Animo Leadership (Inglewood, CA). The Aztec Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Comets meet the Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Westchester will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Animo City of Champions (Inglewood, CA).
