Texas High School Volleyball - John Paul II over Katy

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) and the host Katy Tigers (Katy, TX), observed John Paul II's volleyball team top Katy by a count of 2-0.

The Cardinals (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian notched a victory over Dallas HSAA (Plano, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Rock Hill Blue Hawks (Frisco, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Katy will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Blue Hawks go into the test with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Keller (Keller, TX).
