In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Weslaco East Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Juan Diego Academy .
The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX). The enter the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last test, IDEA Edinburg College Prep achieved victory over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Villa for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Juan Diego Academy will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-3.
