Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting University Trojans (Waco, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Brentwood Christian was beaten by Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Killeen for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. University will face a Kangaroos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 2-7.
