Texas High School Volleyball - Laredo LBJ over San Benito

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Laredo LBJ Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the San Benito Greyhounds.

The Wolves (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Edcouch-Elsa was defeated by La Feria (La Feria, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weslaco for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. San Benito will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
