London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Davenport beat Madison (San Antonio, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Matadors face the Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. Seguin will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 9-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Madison (San Antonio, TX).
