In Friday's non-league test, the host MacArthur Generals volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Waltrip Rams.

With the win, MacArthur advances its record to 5-9 on the season. The Generals travel to Porter (Porter, TX) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 3-5. Porter lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Sweeny (Sweeny, TX)

The Rams now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Waltrip will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Carnegie Vanguard (Houston, TX). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-12.
