In Friday's non-league bout, the Manton Rangers (Manton, MI) volleyball team held off the host Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI), by a margin of 2-1.
The Rangers now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host McBain for a Highland bout on Friday, August 22.
With the loss, Oscoda drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to battle the Vikings in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 7-0. Cadillac won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI)
