In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Royse City Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the New Waverly Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Caldwell beat Franklin (Franklin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. New Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, TX).
