San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pasadena Bulldogs (Pasadena, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Matadors (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Argonauts come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Garden Grove was beaten by Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Pasadena will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
