The Rush City Tigers topped the host Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN) in a Great River game, on Tuesday, August 26. Rush City will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record.
The Wolverines (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Princeton gained a win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
