In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wall Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Water Valley Wildcats.
The Hawks (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Hawley beat Idalou (Idalou, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Water Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Westerners come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Caprock (Amarillo, TX).
