The Miller County Pirates softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Randolph-Clay Red Devils to 19 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Miller County moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Pirates host Calhoun County (Edison, GA) to clash with the Cougars in a A Public Region 1 game on Tuesday, August 24. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a A Public Region 1 game, on Thursday, August 26. Randolph-Clay will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 24-16 league loss to Pelham (Pelham, GA).
