The North Buncombe Black Hawks volleyball team (Weaverville, NC), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC)

The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Smoky Mountain defeated Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Black Hawks encounter the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. North Buncombe will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC).
