The Piedmont Panthers topped the visiting North Stanly Comets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Piedmont will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, North Stanly moves to 1-3 on the year. The Comets host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, August 24. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 0-2. South Davidson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
