The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) and the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), saw Porter Ridge's volleyball squad nip West Cabarrus by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Pirates travel to Butler (Matthews, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Butler lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)

The Wolverines now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Rowan for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25. West Cabarrus will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.
