The Surry Central Golden Eagles volleyball team (Dobson, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, North Surry defeated Elkin (Elkin, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Surry Central will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC).
