In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting New Hanover Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the New Bern Bears.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Green Hope nipped Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Laney nipped White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
