Colorado High School Softball - Ponderosa gets by Discovery Canyon

August 23, 2022: Parker, CO 80134

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) and the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), witnessed Ponderosa's softball squad tip Discovery Canyon by a count of 4-3.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a 5A Continental match on Thursday, August 25. Ponderosa will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Discovery Canyon moves to 1-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO) to face the Sabercats in a non-league match on Friday, August 26. The Sabercats go into the match with a record of 2-1. Fossil Ridge won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Legend (Parker, CO)
