The Milford Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Syracuse Rockets to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Milford moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Eagles host Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE) to play the Wolverines in a C District 5 game on Tuesday, August 30. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 2-5.

In their next game, the Rockets play the Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE) in a Capitol game, on Thursday, August 25. Syracuse will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE).
