The Hillcrest Patriots volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the host Central Falcons to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pelham for a non-league game on Thursday, August 25. Hillcrest will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chelsea (Chelsea, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Northridge held off Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL), 3-0, in a league game.
