Colorado High School Volleyball - Gilpin County over Platte Canyon

August 23, 2022: Black Hawk, CO 80422

The Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) volleyball overcame the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Gilpin County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles host West Grand (Kremmling, CO) to face the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 25. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 2-0. West Grand won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Middle Park (Granby, CO)

The Huskies now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bennett for a 3A/2A Frontier outing on Thursday, August 25. Platte Canyon will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Kent Denver (Englewood, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
