California High School Volleyball - Mayfield over Viewpoint

Mayfield Cubs (Pasadena, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Viewpoint Patriots (Calabasas, CA), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cubs clash with the Flintridge Prep Wolves (La Canada, CA) in a Prep match, on Thursday, August 25. Mayfield will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Glendale (Glendale, CA).

With the loss, Viewpoint drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA) to clash with the Dolphins in a non-league match on Thursday, August 25. The Dolphins come into the match with a record of 0-1.
