With the win, Pine Tree upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Pirates travel to Tatum (Tatum, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Tatum lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Nederland (Nederland, TX)

The Bears now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, August 26. Timpson will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Knights record now stands at 9-9.
