Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Thomas Jefferson Spartans (Denver, CO), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Gators now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rangeview for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO) to battle the Bison in a challenge on Tuesday, August 29. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
