In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Alexander Central Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Draughn Wildcats.
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, North Lincoln lost by Maiden (Maiden, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
