North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thales Academy Apex can't hold off Wake Prep Academy

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Wake Prep Academy Guardians volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Thales Academy Apex Titans.
The Guardians (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Corinth Holders nudged Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Titans encounter the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) in a battle, on Friday, August 25. Thales Academy Apex will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Lion come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC).
