Next, the Vikings confront the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 28. Avery County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Black Hawks enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC).

The Cardinals now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29.
