The Paulding County Patriots softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Whitefield Academy WolfPack to 1 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Paulding County improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Patriots host East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region 5 game on Thursday, August 24. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 8-1. East Paulding won 7-0 in their recent league game against Alexander (Douglasville, GA)

In their next game, the WolfPack clash with the Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 game, on Thursday, August 24. Whitefield Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Scots come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 17-1 league loss to King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA).
