Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) in a District 63 match, on Thursday, August 24. Lewis County will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Musketeers come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to South Point (South Point, OH).

With the loss, Robertson County drops to 1-4 on the season. The Black devils travel to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, August 24. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 3-1. Bishop Brossart won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Holmes (Covington, KY)
