Pennsylvania High School Football - Saucon Valley over Bangor

August 23, 2024: Bangor, PA 18013

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) and the host Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), witnessed Saucon Valley's football squad knock off Bangor by a tally of 16-7.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Pirates enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - B contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Palisades was outscored by Executive Education Academy Charter School (Allentown, PA), 36-8, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Slaters confront the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A contest, on Thursday, August 29. Bangor will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 15-14 non-league loss to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA).
