The Bear Lake Bears football team (Montpelier, ID), was tipped 25-20 in Friday's non-league bout with the host South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID)

With the win, South Fremont advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
