Ohio High School Football - Bellefontaine tops Sidney

The Bellefontaine Chieftains football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Sidney Yellowjackets to 21 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bellbrook for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Bellefontaine will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Sidney drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Stebbins (Riverside, OH) to meet the Indians in a Miami Valley League test on Friday, August 30. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Stebbins won 35-34 in their recent non-league test against Shawnee (Springfield, OH)
