Pennsylvania High School Football - Carrick loses to Carlynton

August 23, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15210

Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Carrick Raiders (Pittsburgh, PA), 33-18 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Carlynton advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Avella (Avella, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Avella lost 20-6 in their recent league battle against Mapletown (Greensboro, PA)

The Raiders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Albert Gallatin for a Freelance battle on Friday, August 30. Carrick will play a Colonials team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 0-1.
