Georgia High School Football - Carver tops Spencer

The Carver Tigers football squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Spencer Greenwave to 9 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harris County for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Carver will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 21-17 non-league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Spencer drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Lovett (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-0. Lovett won 30-14 in their recent non-league test against Crisp County (Cordele, GA)
