In Friday's non-league match, the host Catasauqua Rough Riders football squad scored a good 47-34 triumph over the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears.
The Rough Riders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Wilson Area (Easton, PA). The Warriors come into the Colonial-Schuylkill - B match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Wilson Area was beaten by Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 47-0, in a non-league match.
