The Central Holmes Christian Trojans edged the host Oak Hill Academy Raiders football team by a score of 21-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans face the West Memphis Christian Black Knights (West Memphis, AR) in a MAIS 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, August 30. Central Holmes Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 45-18 non-league loss to Winona Christian (Winona, MS).
The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS). The rams enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
